Working for you!

Joyfully, as a middle school nurse, an advocate for climate protection and green initiatives, acceptance and inclusion for all, and a fiercely progressive Democrat!

Exciting News! I am happy to share that I have been officially appointed to the Westwood Environmental Action Committee! I am looking forward to working with the dedicated WEAC folks, who are tireless advocates for the health of our community and our world.

Dave and I are founding members of the Charles River Green Coalition which is made up of a group of amazing folks from Westwood, Dedham, Norwood, Medfield, Canton, Walpole and Needham. The Town Hall event was inspirational !

To learn more and get involved, send an email to info@charlesrivergreen.org. Meetings take place at the Westwood Public Library, 660 High Street.

Angry Women protest #AbortionBans in Needham Center!

Yep, I was there too! Feeling more outraged than angry. Outrageous! But inspired by the women who shared their experiences and feelings this day. To think this is happening 30 years after my mom and I rode a bus to DC to protest challenges to Roe and protect our rights to make decisions about our OWN bodies! And thank you to Representative Denise Garlick for attending this protest and for her support of H.3220!

Re-elect Atkins to Planning Board!

This is my super cutie Marshall who was roped into sign holding for his dad because his elementary school is our polling place! Doesn't he look happy?

Family Diversity Projects exhibits promote cultural diversity, tolerance, understanding and defeat marginalizing stereotypes of people who immigrate to the United States. I was thrilled to find this amazing exhibit, "Building Bridges", obtain grant funding from the Dedham Education Foundation, and promote (within the school system) this display to all of the students and faculty at the middle and high schools in Dedham.
