Ooh thanks for the tips Kelley, I didn't end up doing it until last night but it was possibly a little more liquidy than normal - Might have to strain one tin of the tomato's next time. The girls said it tasted different, but nicer than normal - so that's a winner!

I do my spag bol in the slow cooker too! But you know what is even betterer?

Make meatballs, chuck em in raw with a heap of grated vegies, your spaghetti sauce (I make my own with a base of passata) make sure that it is really liquidy and then about 30mins before you are read to eat chuck the pasta in raw. It absorbs the liquid, tastes AMAZING and you don't have to use another pot!
