Menu Plan Monday - 2 November

mpm121.jpg

Now this is getting scary! November already? Almost time for me to hang up my Menu Planning hat as I’m off away for a few weeks. Not to say there won’t be menu planning, because there will, but staying with people you kind of eat what they do most of the time. And while my friend who visited will let me have free range of her kitchen (won’t you? Wink), others we’re staying with might not be so open and welcoming.

And as the year draws to a close, I’m still trying to empty the freezer. I haven’t bought meat in 3 weeks now. My reduced meat buying really is a sickness. Though the extra $$ in the budget at the moment is helping store the “cyclone” cupboard in the event it’s needed this wet season.

Added to that we’re only home 4 nights this week and I’m not going to have to buy meat for a looong time I don’t think.

Wednesday - Beef Schnitzel, mash & steamed vegetables

Thursday - Apricot Chicken, rice and beans

Friday  - Corned Beef, mash & vegetables

Sunday - Meatballs & pasta

What’s on your menu plan this week? Do you have a menu plan? If not, check out my How to Menu Plan post and then head over to Orgnaizing Junkie and post your menu and see what everyone else is eating this week.

My menu plan? Baked beans. Lots of baked beans. I checked the pantry and found a few more cans of beans than I remember buying.
