I have kept clothes from the first two but only from size 2 onwards. We weren't sure we were having a third, and a lot of clothes had already done my cousins 3 girls before I got them, so after 5 kids weren't worth keeping for "maybe". And both the older two were in winter clothes for size 0, which is what I've bought. So either way I would have been buying them I guess.

You had to buy summer clothes for the baby? Did you not store some of the baby clothes from the older girls? I had my youngest getting around in baby clothes that my oldest had worn. Until they're running around outside, I found that baby clothes were outgrown rather than worn out. My oldest had things passed down from her cousins which were then passed down through my 4.
