Uni Results

I’ve been increadibly slack about reporting in on many aspects of life at the moment. A couple of weeks ago I got my uni results for the first semester of this year.

I passed both subjects, not fantastically well, but when I consider the three kids at home, the IL’s away for a couple of months and the new baby, and the fact I had only intended to do one subject, but was talked into two by a lecturer - at least this way I’m still on track with my degree.

Unfortunately that won’t help me much with my study goal for 2008 of maintaining a credit average. In face my average now is somewhat less than a credit. I do have the rest of the year to make amends, but that will take a LOT of work and to be honest I’m not sure I can pull it off with everything else we’ve got going on for the rest of the year. Yes, there will be more to come

    You must be disapointed, but then like you said, you have had a lot on your plate. I think you’ve done well to even contemplate study as well!

    Gawd, you’ve been doing a great job, don’t feel that you’ve failed in any way!
    Can you defer one of the subjects and concentrate on the remaining one?

    I think you’ve done very well. consider the alternative - failing. ech. Then you’d have to re-do!

    Remember, “P”s get degrees :) I know that you wanted to keep the credit average going, but you did pass and it was all pretty frantic at the time of the exams so you did good to pass. I don’t know how you are doing it with 3 kids, one of them a baby and everything else that you do.

    I’m impressed :)
