Menu Plan Monday - 9 June

Here we are again, another Monday, another disorganised menu plan. When I checked the freezer earlier my plan was more along the lines of: something with mince, something with sausages, something with chicken… you get the idea. So I’m really making this up as I go along. All I know is I have the makings of quite a few meals in my house at the moment.
Monday - Something with mince. I’m thinking spaghetti bolognaise. We haven’t had it for ages, and the kids like it. And I can hide veggies in it. Bonus.
Tuesday - I may be out for dinner tonight, so something easy - like sausages on bread. Excellent.
Wednesday - State of Origin (Go the Blues!) So, traditional State of Origin fare - Pizza! Just have to remember to order early (like 5:30pm)
Thursday - I am out for dinner, so something easy for Hubby and the girls. Lamb chops, mash and veggies.
Friday - Haystacks
Saturday - Apricot Chicken
Sunday - We’re all out for a 3 course lunch, so something light - like scrambled eggs on toast, or, far more likely, leftovers from lunch.
Wow - that looks so… unimaginative. I’m so boring when I study. I guess (hope?) I’m using all my brain power studying and not planning elaborate menus. All the “meals” on this weeks plan I can make without thinking. Which is probably what I need.
So what’s on your menu this week? Head on over to I’m an Organizing Junkie to see what other’s are eating this week.

Nah not boring. There’s nothing wrong with good old simple basics.
We have lots of weeks very similar to this, especially when the kids all input into the plan. It is always good to now that during busy times, I have easy meals there to cook that the kids will eat.
Hi Kin,
I didn’t see a comment form, so I am leaving you a comment instead. Just wondering if you would add my site (Parenting Tips) to your blogroll. I will add you to my links page as well. Let me know!
At least you’re not doing fast food take out.
