Red Cross Calling
Because of my numerous comittments at the moment, I’ve been unable to doorknock for the past few years for Red Cross. This year I thought I’d try something different. If you click on the above image in the sidebar (did you get that? the image above is in the sidebar as a link….I hope….) you’ll get taken to my fundraising page. There you can make a donation which will go towards my target of $500. Lofty goals I know.
Red Cross do a lot of great work all over the world, but I guess the main thing we know them for here in Australia are their blood banks. While I’ve never had to partake of their blood yet (or given any - they won’t take mine!) it is a comfort to know it’s there if we need it.
So if you feel so inclined, click on the link and make a donation today! Remember that for Australian’s donations of over $2 are tax deductible (you’ll get a receipt when you make your donation).
